Reading is more fun with a friend! Young readers in 1st or 2nd grade will be paired with older students to read aloud to each other, play literacy-focused games, and talk about books. This program will provide literacy enrichment and promote reading as fun and entertaining. Please call 610-278-5100 x 205 to sign up.

What’s New in the Youth Services Department!



TumbleBookLibrary is an online collection of animated, talking picture books which teach kids the joy of reading in a format they'll love. TumbleBooks are created by adding animation, sound, music and narration to existing picture books in order to produce an electronic picture book which you can read, or have read to you.

The Children’s Department Staff provides support for children’s information needs. We help children find resources for homework, recreational reading, and science fair projects, as well as guide them in finding resources that are appropriate for their reading abilities. Resources are also available for parents and teachers on topics relating to children’s development.

Children with library cards in good standing whose parents have signed the Internet Guidelines agreement, are allowed access to the Internet.
